About Mark

I have been passionate about photography ever since my grandfather gave me an old camera that used 120mm medium format film. That camera started me down a path which I have followed for most of my life. 

My professional career in photography began in photojournalism as a stringer for a number of wire agencies and newspapers. I still consider myself a photojournalist, and still file my images to a number of agencies where my work is licensed by news outlets and publishers around the world. 

More so, I consider my vocation as a photographer to show, and hopefully interest you in the world I see. Whether it is of a famous landmark, a simple street scene or nature at its finest. 

This site and the work on it will evolve and change over time with new work added and other work removed. My photo archive has more than 200,000 images in it, with more being added on a regular basis, the best of that work, or at least what I think is the best will find its way to this online store.
