Located in the North Atlantic between Scotland and Iceland. The Faroe Islands are a collection of 18 individual islands each full of waterfalls where you are always within eight kilometres of the Ocean. There are no tree’s native to the islands and the ground is covered in lush green grass.
Accommodations are at Hotel Foroyar in the capital city of Torshavn. Dining will range from a breakfast buffet at the hotel, lunch and dinners in local restaurants, guest houses and authentic home cooked meals at local farms. All served with the Faroese charm and tradition ensuring an experience you won't soon forget.
You’ll also have an opportunity to photograph adorable Puffins and other waterfowl as we embark on a two hour boat tour of the famous and amazing Vestmanna bird cliffs.
Back on land we’ll travel to villages like Saksun, surrounded with grass roofed houses and steep mountains.
Visit the largest lake - Sorvagsvatn - known as the “Lake Above the Ocean” and hike along the side of the lake to infamous Bosdalafossur waterfall.
During all of this you will learn how to harness the photographic process through my “Eight Steps to Photography” workflow. By using this approach you will achieve consistent results from image to image, giving you time to concentrate on the creative side of your image.
Our workshops are not only about amazing places and wonderful photography, you will also see how to leverage your photography through the use of Social Media and Stock Image licensing.
